Brietling Navitimer reference 806 AOPA from circa 1963. It has the Venus 178 movement. The speidel bracelet is interesting becuase it was a common replacement back in the 70s. I believe the original strap was leather. The hands appear to be service hands.

    1. The Venus 178 was the most common movement
    2. Hands have been replaced probably during a long ago service. I.e. service hands
    3. Dial seems correct for a 1963 AOPA - however no "Breitling" below the 12.
    4. 93 beads of rice on bezel. correct for 1963 http://www.vintage-breitling.com/?page_id=142The movement is right for 1963.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
